It is said the earthy tones bring warmth and comfort particularly in the winter months when the sun is low in the sky, but be careful not too create a too earthy palette, as without sunlight it can be dull. However, with this palette from Dulux it is cleverly lifted and brightened by the Dulux Colour of the Year 2023 Wild Wonder™.
Notice how the wall featured in the bedroom below is lifted by the horizontal lines of Wild Wonder™ It makes for a great feature wall.
Alternatively, note the living room with a wall of Wild Wonder™ and the accent colours are shown in the chaise longue and the rather beautiful earthy brown urn. Our woven baskets would look great in this picture.
This colour palette can create a neutral contemporary look especially with light wood furniture but if you are looking for a richer more sumptuous look then a leather chesterfield sofa in one of the dark browns and introduce soft furnishings with an accent of orange or a mustardy yellow such as the cushions pictured here.
